Tooling Quoted
Once you have your idea and the design is complete, the next step is a tooling quote. During this stage, the product designs will be used to determine the proper tooling necessary to make the product in a efficient production process.Tooling Time and Cost Control
Just like everything else, there is time and expenses associated with the Tooling process. In many cases overruns occur, which typically cost you time and money. These overruns usually occur due to factors which were overlooked during one of the previous steps in the product development timeline. Mirac Engineering will manage your project to help minimize the overruns, saving you time and money.Marketing and Design Changes
To ensure your product is delivered exactly as it was intended, Mirac Engineering provides prototyping services. Prototyping will ensure the product meets all requirements before going to production. Additionally, if you are currently working with another company to develop the prototype, Mirac Engineering can work directly with those companies on your behalf, saving you time and resources.Tooling
After the prototype has met all specifications and requirements, the tooling will be finalized. This ranges from plastic molds, to production process equipment. Mirac Engineering ensures that the tooling specifications are correct and that all tooling and equipment are made correctly.Finalize Approval Process
The last step is the final approval process. This process can be as simple as receiving engineering and sales approval or as thorough as testing the products at approval agencies such as the Underwriter Laboratories, Canadian Standards Association, or the Mine Safety and Health Administration, to name a few. Once the product has been built, final testing and product qualifications are performed by Mirac Engineering and outside testing agencies.Testing and Product Qualifications
The final testing and product qualifications process can potentially uncover issues which may have been previously overlooked. If any issues are uncovered they will need to be addressed before final production could proceed. Mirac Engineering will help address these issues and ensure they are corrected.Product Improvement
Even after the product has made it through the production process, there’s always room for improvement. Looking to beta test your initial model? Mirac Engineering can help. Based on the response from your targeted demographic, Mirac Engineering can help make the necessary improvements to future models.Process Control and Documentation
Before the product can move to the final production phase, the process control and documentation process must be completed. As with every process, detailed plans and procedures will be necessary to ensure consistency across every product manufactured. This can be as simple as a set of plans and instructions to produce the product, or be expanded to include technical plans, quality control procedures, production procedures, and any other steps necessary to ensure the product meets the highest standards.The Customer

Once the product specification has been produced, the production process can begin. Each company is different in how and where they choose to produce the final product. You may choose to produce the products at your own facility, a contract manufacturer, or even at Mirac Engineering’s facility.
